As the body yearns it's soul, I couldn't ask for anything more.
With your voice I suffice. No I don't want to hide.
From pitch black insides to blinding lights...
From every hope to every lie...
From a broken heart, to a love refusing to start...
A pain resides...
But night is darkest, just before sunrise.
Mirrors breaks by my mere sight,
Don't switch on these lights.
Past is an ash and future a shame,
Burning me down in flames.
Darkness all around, and thinking all profound,
Now I have blood dripping....through my veins.
But you have to deal with lightning, before dancing in rain.
A hateful of vengeance, a playful of sin,
And I want to begin.
Asphyxiation before my eyes,
and I am losing my sight.
Hold me down, look me in the eyes,
Tell me everything....will be alright.
Break the hourglass and choke the clock,
Tell me you have to reach your greatest depth, before rising high.

Strong, I like how you kept mentioning everything is at it's lowest before it gets better. I would change breaks to break and play with a few of the lines, like "your voice will suffice" instead of "i will suffice", but that's just my thoughts
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteSuperb work My friend. Extremely touching - when you are in pits there is only way - Up! This also to me brings a great lesson - No need to despair. You want to get to the Zenith, be prepared to touch the Nadir too. It is tasteful that way.
ReplyDeleteGreat job once again
Thank you So much. Zenith and Nadir are opposite to each other- And as it goes, Opposites attract each other.
ReplyDeletesounds more of "anxious" feeling. but nice!
ReplyDeleteAnxious?? How?
