From a diversion when I see,
Two different roads were staring at me.
Two different roads, calling my name,
Two different roads, both wanting me the same.
One was bustling and other Serene,
One was COMFORT and other was DREAMS.
One had path paved for me,
The other had stones and thorns to bleed.
One rhyming with grass and flower,
Other synonymised dust and tar.
I had to look ahead of times, for me to decide what is right.
But I always knew what I want from life.
I said,
Dreams for me, and took that step,
But I lacked conviction and COMFORT sensed.
Covetousness prevailed and confusion infused,
When he made an offer I couldn't refuse.
He asked the question and I couldn't lie,
He said….“I’ll give u things that DREAM can never buy".
I looked over to ‘DREAM’,
to save me from demise.
"Dream-o-Dream please tell me what to do, COMFORT gave me options..Why should I choose you?"
“What would you choose if all I can give you is ‘Happiness’.”
